I have no problems meeting women in public settings and am a pretty good looking guy. However,I though I would give that OKCupid thing a try just to see if it was a viable alternative to meet other women who I would probably have never run into on my own. Two point of interest:
1. I got a pretty dismal response rate to messages sent. Most were well thought out, open ended, and kind of sarcastic/funny. I knew the response rates were typically low, but I never realized they could be that low. Made me feel like the nerdy, pimply kid sitting by himself at lunch.
But here's the best part...
I decided to send a friendly message to this one girl who was morbidly obese, and literally had about 8 teeth left. You would probably loose your appetite just viewing her pictures. Well guess what, I can't even get a response back from this chick. hahaha

Sincerity over sarcasm usually goes a lot farther in OLD, since sarcasm is so easily misunderstood through written language.
