Good advice, but clubbing isn't my thing really. I hate techno music and raves. I'm into rock n roll and concerts like KISS, Metallica, GNR...meeting girls at concerts is easier I guess.

I like house parties and EDM festivals the best. EDM Festivals are a great place to meet women especially if you are able to pregame in a parking lot. As far as I go;
house party > festival > hotel party > bar > club.

Yes, I was there.. Heavy in the game since 97. Raves & hip hop were my scene. Met alotta very cool people, including boyfriends, lovers, n whatnot.. I go to maybe a few events per year now when old school rolls thru. Too many noobs and crappy music nowadays.. I got off that train when dubstep starting getting played everywhere cuz I'm a everyday junglist..lol
So back when I turned 21 in the 1990's I remember going out with friends to nightclubs to pick up chicks. They call it "clubbing". We would hit up all the most happening nightclubs and try to meet the ladies. Any of you do that too? Have any stories to tell?
haha, dude do you live in a cave, still in high school, not familiar with tinder, instagram, fb? clubs, bars and partying in your 20s is a right of passage for most ppl. sure, "not everyone is like that", vegas was built on that experience.
about 10 years ago, in the days of myspace and in another wonderful city, i had a handful of great friends that were club promoters, part owners, and dj's. VIP access was definitely cool.
a few weeks ago i went out with a 23yo cutie to a couple of local bars/clubs then to visit her dj friend who was playing at a hot gay club and we hung out in the dj booth most of the night. afterwards she said "you were really into being in the dj booth weren't you?" i was puzzled but figured out that she thought i was having a "unique" experience because of her access to the dj... pfft, i chuckled and said "you really think that was a special experience for me??" anyway, point being i still go to those places on occasion, but mainly for sport drinking and eye candy. and i'm an older guy and can carry it but these days i just see it as if i'm going to zoo.
It's as valid as any other method when it comes to meeting someone. Plenty of people in their 30's still like to go out if they aren't tied down with kids. The 30's are the new 20's. I've got more energy than a lot of people in their 20's and so do some of the guys I know that are well into their 40's. No one says you have to hook up and not all guys are expecting that...maybe they're just looking for someone to date the same as any other single guy.
