My brother is also mad at me so that's probably why he didn't ask my opinion on plans for this weekend. I can understand that the kid is excited about building his house, but every time they move a dirt pile he wants me to drive all the way out there and look at it. Every weekend for the last month he wants me to drive out there and look at this empty lot. They haven't even poured the foundation yet. Gimme a break already.

Years ago I had a friend do this to me and I got tired of it quickly as well so I fixed it.
Every time we got together which was often I would drive (my choice).
The first place I would take us is out to see her building lot that had not changed at all since
it was currently winter.
She would ask me why I did that and I told her that I was sure she wanted me to see it again since we did this all summer I thought we should do it all winter as well.
Four rounds of this and she told me to knock it off, it wasn't funny.
I never did see that house while it was being built or after it was done.......
Come to think of it, I really didn't see her very much after that last visit to see nothing but big piles of snow.....
Spending the day with myself and the critters.
Kids are all back home, Mr. CSD is with his Brothers in Tennessee until Tuesday, sent my Mother money so her and my Brother and niece can go to supper at Golden Corral which is her favorite place to eat.
I will not disagree with you about your brother, you know him better than I do.
I agree though, why in the world would you invite your friends to spend time with your Mother.
They should be spending time with their Mother.
Mr. CSD's parents crossed over before I started sharing his life but he will probably send a card or call the Mother of his children, who knows.
Close to Veterans Day, Golden Corral provides a free meal to those who have served in our military.
Okay, I'm sorry your Mother's Day got cancelled and I hope everyone involved feels better soon.
I am off to wander through nap time for a while, critters started without me, as usual.
