Thankfully, Juno has her advantage or whatever, for ticks. But, the news said the other day deer ticks are supposed to be really bad this year. Not looking forward to it.
Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd now I just went and looked at pictures of dog ticks, on dogs, in their ears, and I am completetly grossed out.
omg... gross.

Right now I'm apparently mourning my refrigerator because the ice maker seems to be broken, and there is bunch of stuff in the freezer that appears to be thawing out.
I pulled this up to show a friend at her house one day, and she covered her cat's eyes because she didn't want him to see this.
We really have to be careful with Suze though, she is not the most graceful cat on four paws and she has a vision issue.
I cannot even tell you how many times she has tried running up the basement stairs just to trip up and smash her face into the stair above the one she is on. It is not pretty at all and generally when she is trying to go down the stairs she gets down about 6 of them and sort of rolls the rest of the way down.
PS ~~ Not every cat on the planet lands on their feet when they fall either.....
I know. I hope you didn't google ticks in dogs ears. I seriously can't get it out of my head!
Bio......that's awesome!
Nope and I did not look at that photo either, I know better.
We had an incident with Walter several years ago, a very long story to write out.
Bottom line, it took us about 6 weeks to get all of the dead ticks off of him and that was us and the neighbors brushing him every day and checking him. He would only let us brush and look for so long then he just walked away, he'd had enough.

Poor girl.
But yeah anytime you want to build anything check out pinterest for ideas. That site really is mostly known for cooking recipes, and arts and crafts, and stuff like that, but they have tons of really cool DIY stuff too.
I really need to get to bed myself. We are leaving tomorrow and I refuse to leave for a several day trip without our home being cleaned top to bottom, all dishes done and put away, all laundry done and put away and the bed made with fresh linens.
I have to move the electronics off of the porch as well and put them in the house proper because we always close and lock the actual front door of the house when we are gone for a few days.
I'll be up all night defrosting this freezer. Shaking my head.
