Now that supper is over and I have completely trashed the kitchen again it is time to change the bandaid on my thumb, which still hurts a little, get a fresh glass of tea and read for a bit.
The upshot of the day. I organized the garage and planted the garden. Thinking I should have done a bigger garden.
When I don't have time for a regular garden I plant some veggies on my deck in 5 gallon plastic buckets.
Drill some holes in bottom, sit on 2"x2" pieces, put in some gravel, mix fertilizer & good soil, plant cherry tomatoes, sweetie, romano, etc & some strawberries. Put in some plant startup liquid, give them some Miracle Gro frequently...

It's easy.....
As we've mentioned, we're in a condo. Our balcony gets almost no sun. I've tried planting some herbs in little pots on the windowsill in our bedroom. Every day at a certain time I would have to go in there and move them to make sure they got some sun, lol. They kind of sprouted but suffered early demises.
Luckily, we have a green-thumb neighbor who takes care of us with fresh herbs in the summer. I usually try to make something with what she gives us and then give some of it to her.
