Yep. Saw an apartment get robbed from the window of our hotel room across the street. I was only 16 and with a group of other teenaged musicians in an orchestra from Tennessee. Some of the dumb guys we were with tried to run after the burglers. Lol. It was fun. I kept giggling at the English guys when they talked to me because I loved their accents. Our chaperones let us run around London by ourselves. The escalators in the underground freaked put though, I don't like heights and those things were really long
What a day today, I had to go to one Doctor and get a Hep B vaccination, the first of three injections, it was not pleasant.
Then I had to go upstairs in the same building and get a bone density scan done.
Then a brief stop to see my Mother even though we had supper with her last night.
Then to the Secretary of State office.
Then to Aquatic Physical Therapy.
Then to the Pharmacy.
Then we stopped for supper.
Then home to get a few chores done and I am exhausted.
We wish everyone restful sleep and peaceful dreams.....
I actually like having a job. I've always worked. But lately, it's getting harder and harder to motivate to go to a job where I move paper from the left side of my desk to the right. None of this crap is the least bit important in the grand scheme of things.
While I am grateful for all I have, I have to keep telling myself that this job keeps a roof over my head. I'm not helping anyone, the world isn't better because I'm there.
Or I could just be getting old and crabby. LOL
