Fun tale of the weekend: I watched a female coworker get fired and then arrested on Saturday. She happened to be the GF if one of my buddies who also works there.
She was bumped in to and a needle dropped from her shirt pocket. The police were called and she was frisked, and they found heroine on her too. Before she came to work here she was caught with crystal meth. She was high as a kite on Monday, probably from heroine.
I sometimes watch the Mayor of our little town selling weed in a certain bar parking lot, and the cops overlook it every time.
I live around some classy people.

Well, now I have a course outline mostly complete. Woo Hoo. There was an instructor development course offered, I miss the chance to sign up for that class.
I need to just SAY this: I have two co-workers (30-somethings, if that makes a difference) that keep taking about having to eat Ramen noodles for a week or that they max their "last credit card on Chinese food" and don't have money to put gas in their car.
The noodle-eater brings in Tim Horton's coffee every morning. We have a pot brewing every morning at work for free. The Chinese-eater had to spend at least $13 for her order so that they would deliver to work, plus a possible delivery fee, yet she "didn't have any bread to make a PB&J sandwich" . . . you know . . . Bread that cost $1.25 that will feed more than a $13+ dollar order of Chinese.
Sometimes folks create their own troubles.
