I wouldn't reply anymore. He's either keeping you around in case he wants to see you later, or he is too chicken to just tell you he doesn't feel you guys are a match.

I'm more a fan of the slow fade as opposed to the disappearing act, but I think both are pretty much disrespectful. If someone's not interested, I'd prefer he just come out and say it as opposed to leaving me to wonder. If I'm not interested, I let the other person know. I think it's only fair. It might hurt, but I think it's less hurtful and less of a time waster than the slow fade or disappearing act. It's as if no one has any respect anymore.

I agree, just coming right out with it is way better, it's like tearing off a band aid, it really hurts when you do it but once it's off your fine.

Dragging it out is just wasting your time and mine!

Dragging it out is plain selfish.

I had an older woman do this to me about a year ago. She would text here and there and we would always make a plan to meet up, but she would never follow through. One of many reasons I ended up not enjoying online dating after all. Well, one day I got so fed up with her stupid text, when she asked what I was doing that night, I said I was having sex. She ended up getting mad at me and stopped talking to me. Threat neutralized.

Game playing is stupid. She had the nerve to get mad at me, when she was the flake all the time. Some people.
