Is it me or is all of this frustration with OLD dating better resolved with two people meeting up in person first and communicating via more personal means (i.e., by phone)??

Seems like all of these complications could be resolved with better communication, and, possibly eliminates the chances of actually tossing out great prospects!

Cheezes!!

In the case of the teacher, I don't think it was the medium by which they were communicating that was the problem. I think the OP dodged a bullet, there. I think he had personality issues. Projecting his own disinterest and lack of engagement onto her, when she was the one making most of the effort? Some kind of personality disorder.

And the lawyer was just a whiny, negative guy. It happens. Just move on through the catalog to the next ones. It's all just part of the process. Don't get hung up on the details.

Yea the teacher seemed off to me from the start, for one his grammar and spelling was atrocious, and that's my pet peeve! If you're gonna use texting as a main medium for communication with someone, take advantage of the auto correct feature please!
