If you are in a relationship, would you be ok with your girlfriend going out to a bar late at night, with her guy friends, and drinking/getting drunk?

What is your opinion and why? If you trust her, is it totally irrational to have a problem with it? Or do you think it's an inappropriate situation for someone to put themselves in regardless of trust when in a committed relationship?

Thanks for your reply...

Yes
Of course

In a general sense

Of course there could be specific instances where I would not

Sure, as long as she wasn't driving.

Going out with friends for a drink or two I would be okay with. Getting drunk not so much.

So there are no other women there? Why? Does she ONLY have male friends? That would be the red flag to me.

Can you please add some more context to this imaginary situation? I can't vote until I know a lot more about this woman, this relationship, the individual behavioural histories, the other people involved, etc. See how that works?

Huh? Not all friends are going to be at every outing. Sometimes certain people only show up or get together at any one time. Why in the world would that be a red flag?

No. Drunk people embarrass themselves all the times, and drunk women look "disgusting" and "slutty". They send wrong messages and seem to be easy prey.
You GF might have a drinking problem.
Also, girls in a relationship don't go out with their guy friends to bars to get drunk. That's very disrespectful.

BTW: I think you know the answer...

Yikes

Counterpoint:
Drunk people do not embarrass themselves all the time
Drunk women do not look disgusting and slutty
They do not send the wrong messages; taking advantage of drunk people is wrong
Girls in relationships do go out with their friends, male or female, to get drunk. It's not disrespectful.

It's not cheating if both parties are drunk.

No one ever takes advantage of a drunk person. EVER.
