I thought being in shape and taking care of yourself was supposed to increase your attractiveness? Everyone is making it seem so easy. I go to gay bars sometimes and it's not like there are hoards of people waiting to sleep with me. I don't know where this perception came from.
Well, when every guy is out there hitting the racks, dressing well and checking off all the typical boxes in life, you end up back at face. It matters. Employ a plastic surgeon.

Logic says there are as many "types" as there are people. If you can't find someone to be in love with, first time around, you can certainly find a friend who will treat you with respect.
Try some dating apps/websites specifically for gays - be aware they may be much more "aggressive" than you're used to but at least pretty much every one is gay! You'll at least get more practice at assessing profiles and maybe talking/texting other guys. Good luck!
