So from my previous topic I realize I was much to forward with her, but earlier today I went to a gas station that's really close by I go to all the time and there is a very attractive woman that works there and when she was checking out I noticed she had some well manicured and glossy nails, I then said to her that I liked her nails and she said thank you I just got them done, but didn't ask her out or anything, was that okay?

For some context, close to my apt complex there is a wal-mart neighborhood market I walk to to get various things. Anyway, about half an hour ago I had walked up there to get a few things and as I was checking out, I noticed a really pretty girl. We ended up walking out the same time and I said "Excuse me" and she turned around, and I said hi and told her she's really pretty, she kind of laughed and said thanks and turned around when I said "Hey, we should hang out, I live in the apartment complex nearby" and then she said "Oh, well, you know I'm 18 right?" I told her, well I am 33 but I have lots of movies and games and netflix and we could hang out at my place, she then said "I'm sorry, but no thanks" then walked to her car.
As she was putting her groceries in I went up to her and said "Hey, are you sure, we could have some fun" and she then said she was sure and as she was getting into her car I said, why not take my number in case you change your mind and she said "Again, no thanks" then closed her door and locked them then drove off.
I was just wanting to offer a fun night but she seemed standoffish and to me, kind of rude, she could have at least taken my number if she changed her mind.
