Why would she send him dirty texts still when they see each other everyday now?
is this the guy who had a thread the other week?
I don't see any mention of them spending "more" time together in this thread, just that they spend everyday together. its unclear if that is a new change or it was always the case.
As for the OP, this is pretty normal for most people I would say.
They stop feeling they have to try now that it's "official"
they got what they wanted
Their willingness to try to impress and go out of their way dies off dramatically.
For some reason my girlfriend never initiates texting with me like she use to! When we were first starting to get to know each other she would text me alot but as we've became a couple it's died down big time.
I'm very frustrated by this! She used to send me dirty texts and it;s died down. We see each other basically every day but still. I'm thinking of ending it
It speaks volumes as to how much human interaction has fallen to screen time. I am so thankful I did not grow up in the era of screen only interactions. What a damaging effect is has had on human empathy.
It will be interesting to see how this pans out evolution wise on our senses as well vision.
Texting is a lame way to have a real relationship.

Texting is a communication tool...it's not good or bad in of itself. It's how people use it.

It's a communication tool through a screen...no face time at all. No physical interaction. You can't see or pick up on nonverbal cues. You can't see facial expressions.
It's a superficial way of communicating with others resulting in lower quality relationships.
It is also what accounts for the lack of empathy towards others, a trend that has been increasing.

I call bs. If you know the other person you can spot emotions through word choice and how the reply. It does not replace face to face communication...but no one has said it should. It's a tool....just like writing a note was when I was in high school.

BS, the lack of empathy that is growing can be attributed to greedy and heartless employers and the corruption in politics. Text having very little to do with either.
