Well according to many men, they don't get responses or messages regardless of putting their very best foot forward in their profile. (I actually believe this to some degree. The man I'm seeing said he hardly ever got any messages and was surprised when I messaged him.)
So apparently it will end up being a site with only women seeking men who don't exist.

For every woman on POF that has "If you message me with 'Hey', "How's your day?', "How are you?' I won't respond!!!!, I'm thinking I've never faced that face to face. Sigh.
I'm pretty certain I passed a few minutes before bed yesterdaY and found some of that amongst the "Just ask!" profiles...
So, as mentioned, while that "real man" most women desire won't be there (he doesn't have to be, frankly), most women will get booted quite quickly, too.
