Please vote and give honest reason for following:

Single guy who just turned 40 on the 4th of July

Single, never married. Was engaged to be married 4 and 1/2 years ag
But engagement fell apart.

Hasn't found the right woman yet. Has dated and has dating experience

Would like to have a family, be a great father and husband

Enjoys attending sporting events.
Likes outdoor activities like boating on the lake in the summer time.
Loves listening to all kinds ofmusic except for country, heavy metal and bluegrass.
Like going to shows at the theater.
Enjoys ice skating in the winter .
Loves to be romantic and flirty on a date.
Has a rewarding career.
Dresses nice and receives compliments from friends and co workers.
Is money savvy
Has a nice home.
Drives a nice car
Loves his parents with all his heart
Like to dine at nice restaurants

Therefore is this guy a good catch or red flag to women for dating where the woman is single from age range of late 20s to mid 30s? Please be honest with your vote

Sounds fine to me. Only issue is wanting kids, because I don't. So that probably won't work. Otherwise, he sounds good, provided I also find him decent-looking.

I don't see any red flags. How do you feel when you're with him? What's your relationship like?

I am out of that age range and not looking anyway. I just wanted to say that you sound like a nice guy....the fact that you "love your parents with all your heart" is so very great as well. I have often heard you can tell if a man is going to treat his wife good by the way he treats his mother."

To add also. He will not forget your birthday and will surprise you with beautiful flower arrangements on your birthday.

Have to also add is that the person is balding but keeps his head clean. He is tall -6'5. Also lost a ton of weight and is still keeping religiously strict to his diet and is active and still loosing weight. Was 325 pounds at start of last year and has dropped the weight big time but still dresses very nice and gets compliments

Neither red flag nor good catch. Kind of cliche.

Depends on how he looks and how he acts.

Someone can look right on paper but still be wrong.

I agree. Plus, there could be red flags but they just aren't listed. And for what it's worth, we often don't see our own red flags.

What makes him seem like he would be a great father and husband? Have you seen him around children/nephews and such?

Kinda seems contradictory to me. But if he can afford it.. then why not.

I don't see anything wrong but you can't sum a person in a single post very easily.... looks good on paper but can still be totally wrong. Its very easy to focus on all the good stuff in all the excitement... and paint a perfect picture. Anything about him you don't like? Can you live with them?.. That's the important thing to look for and consider. I'd also be curious as to why the previous engagement fell through...

Clearly the OP is describing himself. Sounds like some people responding needed that clarification.
