It sounds like your college friend got back together with his gf. Otherwise, it seems like you and he got together too soon after breaking up with your exes. What you had was a rebound fling. It probably would be best to move on and meet some new people. Also take some time being single before trying to date someone new.

Yeah, sounds like this guy just wanted to see if he could get you to break up with your boyfriend. He's a "pla-yuh". You are way too fickle to get involved in a serious relationship too. Some dude pays you a little attention and you dump your boyfriend for him? Maybe you need to pick up some "pla-yuh" skills too.

Honestly, if someone did that to me, I would at least ask him why the change of heart. It's no skin off your nose except some hurt feelings, but you already have those. Just act casual and ask him. It's better than busting your brain trying to figure it out. If he gives you a nonsense answer, say OK and walk away with a smile.

You're excused. Most people who've read my thread know I'm referring to the general lot of 18-20 year old boys. Do you deny that you did stupid crap when you were 18? I sure did.

Most college students are in the 18-22 range. And at that age and being away from parents and home for the first time, most students are about socializing and having fun, less so about being in serious relationships and thinking about marriage.

It sounds like the O.P.'s former relationship was on the way out anyway. So the silver lining is that it's done and she's on to making new friends. Hopefully her heart isn't too broken over this.

Yes I'd let him go...but only after you drop kick him in the gonads the very next time you see him. If he can't be man enough to let you know what the heck he's up to...then he deserves to get kicked like a football through the goal posts of life. As he's laying there turning blue in the face and writhing in pain...tell him Rance says hi and walk off.
