Lovely romantic ideas aside, I don't encourage using other people's groceries unless you know the bacon wasn't slated for the chowder later in the week or the bluerberries for lunch. Go out (kiss/note), get food, come back.
Wow, short handwritten love notes, hugs&kisses, blue berry bacon pancakes and a good romp before we step out that door, lol
Well, my women are typically in a deep coma from the night before (who knows when she's going to wake up, if at all). So if you ladies are wanting these things early in the morning, sigh.... he just didn't do things right

I always loved the little handwritten notes left by someone that stayed over when I let them sleep in when I had to be off for work. I kept every one. Its a tiny thing, but means a lot.
"You looked so peaceful, I didn't want to wake you. I'll call you later. Have a good day at work." That would be a nice text.
Oh wait, kids today.
thx 4 dafuq txt u l8r ily
Can't rep you. lol
The first one works.
I'm always the one up early, I would just leave a note or send a text. I can't sit around and do nothing.
You wake me up at your own peril. Prior self defense training is recommended.

I guess I figure that I did wait 2 hours already. She saw that I was up earlier and she didn't get up. So, is it rude to sleep excessively when you have a guest or it it rude for the guest not to wait till possibly noon or later to even find out what may or may not be going on for the day? I call it a wash and just leave as I don't want to waste half of the day.
This is a really good question. Is there a reason why you can't ask her?
I can't help wondering why she would need 12 hours of sleep. IMO that's not normal. In any case, I'd think it would be fine to leave her a note saying you didn't want to wake her, so you left and will call her later.

Who cares why she's sleeping in? Jeez. Just go about your day and leave her alone. I love to sleep in on the weekends, and my husband knows it. He kisses me bye when he leaves to play golf, and I call him when I wake up to say good morning.
