I have no idea why some are having difficulty understanding what I wrote, but what I'm asking is: Suppose you were interested in someone and you ask them why their last relationship didn't work out, and they mention that they killed someone (specifically the partner of an ex) in self-defense, would you continue to pursue them or would you leave them alone and look for someone else?
I don't associate with people who associate with low lifes.

That guy is with skeevey chicks who date thugs. This is not a quality guy with good judgment.
Suppose you were interested in someone, and they admit to you that they have killed someone in the past (self-defense), would that sway you from pursuing something with them? Why or why not? I'll post my answer eventually. I just want to see others' perspectives first.
Self defense? Not a problem. Wouldn't be a problem if it was a soldier either. If someone is threatening myself or close friends or family I would have no problem doing whatever appropriate action is necessary.
edit: After reading the thread it does sound creepy.

I want to say that it would depend on his reason for committing murder. Killing someone in self defense isnt murder. Even if he killed the person who had raped his child or mother, which seems like a good reason, do you really want to date someone who thinks murder is a viable option for someone who has hurt him? What happens if you break up with him? Best not go there.
If my wife came home from work and said "Honey I killed someone today.", I would ask her if we can call the police to handle it or if she needs my help hiding the body.
