I'd make sure she found out one way or another, if she was a pretty close friend (I only have 3). Everyone else I put in the acquaintance category, so I'd probably stay out of it.

I would tell without hesitation.
I couldnt let that slide while honestly sitting their viewing their realtionship and their interactions together knowing what actually happening behind the lies.

I would view this as allowing myself to put my friend in danger.

What if that broke up a family and the person cheating has to pay crippling child support and/or someone commits suicide? Life isn't a perfect city data world for most people.

I don't know too many people (if any, really) who'd be okay with being cheated on and lied to as long as they don't have to know about it, or who'd be okay with their friend knowingly keep that information from them. Either way, it's up to the person being cheated on to do what he/she wants with the information, not me.

Well you go ahead and do what you gotta do I guess. I would rather be happy not ruining someone's family over maybe a one time mistake. Not everyone is perfect, it's cool if you are though.

Been there and in my case it as my best friend of 13 yrs and her live in boyfriend of 5 years. I told her which she of course was shocked/ in disbelief/ hurt and I had texts to prove it. He was trying to sleep with me and propositioned multiple times over and over. After all was said and done we came to find out not only has he been cheating on her for over a year with someone, living with her for minimum because he was " always broke" but every day he would say he was in classes then work. He never actually enrolled again and was just freeloading
