How do you deal with women who are on their periods? (partner, like)

Ok I know ive posted some off stuff lately but I came across something, it had to be something small I was missing and here it is my girlfriend was actually on her period which is why she was acting weird lately. Its awful she gets pretty snippy at small stuff. The way I found out was kinda awkward tho , when she took me out for my birthday , we went skating she didn't want to do it at first but she did anyway , shed rather sit down tho and have her shoes off I noticed her feet were swollen lol. when she smelled cotton candy you better believe I had to get it, but the funny part is while she was eating it she didn't offer to share so before she put the piece in her mouth I ate it out of her hand and she got extremely upset ,like ive never seen this before she force fed more into my mouth and said you better finish it I was laughing so I didn't take it serious. it didn't end there though literally a few seconds after she heard a song she immediately stopped being mad and initiated dancing I was so confused at how moods can switch so quickly. then soon after shes done she starts getting sad about her stomach out of nowhere and I try to touch her stomach and say its fine babe and comfort her but got slapped lol. it was a weird evening for me but it didn't ruin the birthday I never had to deal with that any guys who have similar gf/wife that gets aggressive during this period lol
Think of it as a 9+ month break from PMS . Seriously, not all pregnant women are beasts; from conception to crowning, I was uncharacteristically serene and tranquil.
I know my wife and I am almost 3450934852034% sure that this will not be the case. I'm an atheist, but if she was serene and tranquil I would drop to my knees and praise Jebus!
That was the one drawback: a husband who was terrified of boning a noticeably pregnant woman. My stance was simple: You did this to me. Now kill the lights, do whatever you gotta do to take one for the team

The problem we had was that there were certain activities I enjoyed then with him (which I won't hint at because PG-13, that's why) that he enjoyed so much he hoped/thought they were permanently on the menu. Well, after kiddo was born, and body back to normal, that was not fun/comfortable for me anymore and had to stop (at least with him.) I think he felt sad and deprived for the remainder of our marriage.
Hormones, they are no joke.
Also funny were the foibles of lovemaking while lactating, but again...um...maybe TMI...
Having babies was interesting. Still, I'm glad I'm done doing that.

Everyone has their "thing". More power to you! You wouldn't believe some of the stories I've been told.
