then write like you are in college. one day you too will want to be able to actually read what someone wrote, and punctuation, paragraphs, and brevity are all good tools to use.
lololol...sorry...I had to laugh at this one. I had the same thoughts. "You're in college....write like you are in college...demmit!!!!"
At least practice your "newly acquired" writing skills on us folks here in C-D forum.
Yes, we are "old and picky"....and we LIKE us this way.
Someday...you too will be old (and possibly picky) like us.
Thank you lucy.
Once a month, no, two weeks of every month....my breasts swell till it is painful, I get headaches, I have cramps in places I don't want to know about, I am more tired, more hungry, my body does weird things. Can't go out in public due to major blow outs and the possibility of leaving evidence behind me.
Using any public restroom at this time is a tactical nightmare. I a 53 and going through peri-menopause.
Everything I THOUGHT I KNEW about my cycles, my flow, and my body.....have been turned on their heads.
What's NOT to love??!!
My worst days are the actual day of....the first 24 hours of the flow. Then, I just find a hot pad and go hide out in my dark bedroom till the next day. Not even chocolate can soothe that bloody beast these days.
I'm sorry to hear that. My period started when I was 9 and though it was never fun, I didn't start having significant issues with it until I was in my early 30s. I hate to think that it could get even worse and that I may have to deal with it for 20 more years or get a hysterectomy.

Yep. Mine too. I started at age 9. I went from 7 days heavy for 9 years, then after the birth of my first child, it went to exactly 2 days-48 hours. It did that till I hit peri-menopause at age 46. Now it is all over the calendar

Lol, whenever the Mr. asks if I need anything I shriek "Yeah, get me some raisinettes and a hysterectomy!"
Take the Pill. Constantly. Dont use the fake pills in the pill pack either. I did for 10 years and never had any kind of period. When I quit taking it a few years ago nothing happened. I am 52 and appear to have gone through menopause without having any symptoms!
I tried to get my Gyno to give me BC, but NOOO...they all kept saying I was too old! I tired to get my tubes tied....but NOOOO....I was over 35 and married...blah blah blah. Now, I am 53, have no Gyno, no health insurance, and all of my lady equipment intact. Still working just fine.

Cant you find another dr. preferably a female. There are medications to help you thru it.
Thankfully, like Gabby, mine was no biggie. Over it at 50 with a few little hot flashes, maybe a couple snippy episodes and light random bleeding for about a year or so. It would be like what the what, you back aunt flow. Naw, just for a really short visit, see you next year.
Q. How do you deal with women who are on their periods?
A. Same way you deal with men who are having problems with their colons.
