As for whether or not he is single remains to be seen. He is divorced but he could have a gf. He has talked about just him and his kids taking a trip, no mention of a gf. But who knows?? He appears to be a decent guy but even decent guys like attention so maybe that's what it is all about it!

Your actions do indicate it, and he certainly knows what you're telegraphing. 90% chance he is unavailable for whatever reason, and isn't taking it further. You've done all you can .

I would not ask him out first, but that's just me. I'm sure if the guy wants to ask you out, he would find a chance to do that. What you can do is give him the opportunity. Maybe the next time you see him, you should ask him to go for a walk or something, where there is just the two of you.good luck
