There was an interesting thread going on Facebook the other day about lies your significant other has told you: specifically, the best and/or biggest ones. I heard some interesting responses and am curious to hear yours. What lies have your significant others told you? Did you know they were lying, or did you believe what they said at the time? They say love is blind. How blind has it made you?
He lied to me that he bought me diamond earrings for Christmas. It was funny when you think about it - I don't even have my ears pierced! And I really wanted a pair of these Vans with cats on them, which was what I actually got.

"I'm not cheating on you" is about the biggest lie I've heard from 4 SO's.
Thats 3 SOs for me. Oddly enough, Ive never cheated on any of my exes, and its exactly the same story I hear from guys all around. After a while, you start adding 2 and 2 together, and you realize a group of people is involved in cheating epidemic.
"NINETEEN out of 20 women admit lying to their partners or husbands, a survey on attitudes to truth and relationships has found. Eighty-three per cent owned up to telling "big, life-changing lies", with 13 per cent saying they did so frequently. She said: "Modern women just can’t stop lying, but they do it to stop hurting other people’s feelings. It could be argued that these little white lies simply make the world go round a little more smoothly. But to tell a man a baby is his when it’s not, or to deliberately get pregnant when your partner doesn’t want a baby, is playing Russian roulette with other people’s lives.""

I've never cheated as well; I just don't have it in me. I take all my commitments very seriously. I also, have a strong backbone. I have no problems voicing/addressing problems, and need be leave a relationship without someone waiting in the wings.
