Women love to develop relationships (romantic) via affection/ physical contact. You can't do that if you're gone all the time. This is not to say that you cannot ever be away from her, but if you're traveling 3 weeks for every month, I can see why the tendency to not want to pursue a relationship.

Long distance relationships work fine. Although it sucks not seeing her for a couple months at a time.
