I would totally get another wife in here. She does laundry, right?
I've always felt that I needed a wife.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure two wives is my husband's nightmare, not his fantasy.

Polyandry is rare in humans, but not unheard of. Generally it naturally occurs in areas where natural resources are in short supply (think low fertility tundra areas, and the like) and multiple males are needed to help successfully raise offspring to adulthood. It makes sense for it to be siblings due to the gene issue; as in two related males will share genes. When a brother aids his brother in raising his offspring, he is in fact promoting his own genes to the next generation simultaneously.
It might have had something to do with warfare or other dangers which resulted in a disproportionate male-female ratio. Men were I believe required to look after their brother's wife in case something happened, although I'm not sure about the exact laws governing this. Naturally things would happen, and I believe these sorts of transgressions was one of the reasons God was always angry with the ancient Israelites.

The reason men had so many wives back in the old testament days is because the infant mortality rate was 20% so the more wives you had the better the odds of having sons that lived past the age of 5, because you could have many women pregnant at the same time, and ideally you know who the mother is and who the father is.
If one woman has many husbands there would be no point cause only one of them could father a child at a time. and who is the father?

If you read the Old Testament, it clearly said which actions made the God angry and I don't recall polygamy was mentioned there once as one of those reasons.
