Shallow? If I am not attracted to someone, how is that shallow? I am not attracted to fat women for several reasons and I don't even have to explain why, do you find unhealthy people really attractive? Same logic, most women would not be attracted to men who are unhealthy.

So no.
I think that's the whole problem with this question. "Overweight" means you weigh more than your supposedly "optimum/acceptable" weight. That could mean 10 extra pounds or 200 extra pounds, etc.

Its all the same to me.

Men naturally have very fast metabolisms, so any weight at all is an indicator of future fatness. It means the bad diet overeating and couch surfing are Already Present.

Within reason, i would, but I voted no.

I don't mind a little extra weight. But I dated a guy who had an unhealthy relationship with food that he refused to address, and it was too hard to watch. And I don't want to be with a guy who is physically unhealthy.

That said, I could stand to lose 10 pounds myself, and have just recently started cutting carbs and wheat pretty aggressively. I'm active and at the gym 3x per week. I'm sure I get passed over at times because I"m not skinny enough.

I work with some younger guys and a couple of them actually said that they want to see bones on a woman.

Gross.

But to each their own. For all of those guys there are plenty of guys that don't mind a few extra pounds. Myself included...

That's because on a woman, a few extra pounds could mean bigger breasts or butt. On a man, there aren't any nice places for a few extra pounds to go.
