I broke up with my ex girlfriend about 1 month ago. We were only dating for about 4 months and it didn't work out for various reasons. She went back to school a few days ago and texted me asking if I wanted to visit to hangout. I know she wants to have sex because after the breakup she mentioned becoming friends with benefits. Also when I went to her house a few times after we broke up we had sex too. I said ok to being FWB at the time but then we entered a NC period for 1 month and she texted me yesterday about the visit.

Is this a bad idea? I have no intention of getting back into a relationship with her but I wouldn't mind having sex. Thoughts?

Personally, I wouldn't do it. It's not like you're experiencing anything new, but a possible STD.

I wouldn't go back and mess around with an ex like that.

Has confusion and drama written all over it.

In most cases, when this happens, the baby's real father is at question.

I do think it's a very bad idea. I personally would never try to have a FWB with an ex gf, I think you're really asking for trouble. You say you have no intention of getting back in a relationship with her, but that's much easier said than done, especially if you're having sex. With that said, I've had a few FWB and it was great because neither of us got emotionally involved. I think that would be very difficult with an ex.

Think about it;
Pregnancy-should be sorted
STD-same thought
She could be trying to rekindle the relationship
It could affect your next relationship
Otherwise; Go for it!I know I would
