Obviously women are going to want to gauge you first.. So you just go to bars because there's a possibility of making out? What a stand up guy. I bet you're really interested in getting to know women.
I don't think you understood me.
Bar- If I meet a woman at a bar, we have a few drinks, get a nice buzz, not drunk but conversation flows even better, we laugh. If you feel that connection, leave the bar, go sit in your car, talk a bit more, then kiss, make out a little and then it is up to the woman to say YES, lets go to my place or stop at making out and see you again or maybe, I don't want to ever see you again.
Coffee Shop- The woman knows ahead of time nothing is going to happen. Sit there for 2 hours. Complete waste of time!
I just like going on walks on the beach or a nice area or somewhere quiet that gives you the chance to talk and find out whether or not you are compatible. I don't get how people can go on first dates in noisy places. What's the point ? You won't learn anything about them therefore won't figure out whether you like them or not. I would save the noisy dates for later on when you actually know you like the person
OP's question wasn't about first dates, per se. Besides, I can and have learned plenty about a guy by taking him to a hockey game.
I’m surprised most people say sporting event as you both are staring out onto the field. It’s kind of like a date at the movies with not much one on one interaction. There are also people stacked on top of you so private conversations are kind of self moderated. It's not like you're going to ask your date if she likes her toes sucked.
