I always attract the guys who are just "off" a little bit. You know how it is. You talk to them and they seem normal for a while, and then all of a sudden they show a flash of weird. The kind of weird that makes your radar ping.
Either that, or I attract guys that want to take care of me and tell me what to do. And I am THE most independent woman ever. Maybe they think I'm a challenge, who knows? But when they start telling me the things I "should" be doing and not wanting me to do the things I enjoy because "they worry", I know it's not going to end well. For them.

I can relate to second paragraph. I can be a bit defiant (just my nature) so it's hard for me to be told what to do.
Almost all of the men I attract are married w/ kids.
All are in longterm marriages, force their numbers on me &
try to manipulate me into believing they're missing something in their marriages.
The other type I attract is younger men....
Way younger- like 20 years younger....
I used to enjoy it, but now it's more like I want stimulating
conversations with mature men who have actual life experiences.....
Younger guys really, really, really lack depth.

Isn't that great? I just love it when I'm giving someone a chance and they seem normal/vanilla, then something happens or is said and I realize, wait, they're not normal. They're totally off. And then I have hope for something real.
Its was always the church girls and hippies. The best part was you would never run into one while you were with the other. They were from different worlds.

I do have a son who look just like me. The worst men had hit on me in the presence of my son. To illustrate this better, my first husband joined the skinheads (after we married).
If I want quality men, I have to do the approach. If not, I get more trash like the ones mentioned above.

I know a few still exist, but I thought you had to dig into the bowels of the internet to find them in large groups. Like Stormfront and places like that.
Two additional types that I've been attracting lately: middle age white guys(I'm black and don't date white men) and older/middle age black men already in relationships/married.
I also spoke to soon on the thuggish BM not approaching me anymore--this week I've gotten approached a lot by them.
