Are you talking about the same women... are you talking about women who have children with deadbeats and then are looking for security (I guess looking to leave their deadbeat partners)? Or are you talking about two different types of women (those who want security vs. those who didn't make it a priority and had children with deadbeats)?
In any case, if they have kids already and are looking for security now, I'd say they learned the hard way what's important.
If they don't have kids and are looking for security in a relationship, then I would say they are pretty sharp and thinking things through.
If you are talking about one group of women with kids with deadbeats and another group who are looking for security and comparing them, then I would say your premise is flawed (you are thinking all women think the same and value the same things).
Think I covered all the bases. Probably not though, lol.
Some enjoy the attention and drama that comes with being knocked-up, and are counting on him sticking around for the long haul.
Along a similar line, those coming from dysfunctional situations try to manufacture their own family to make up for what they don't have. They're too short-sighted to realize that a cute little newborn isn't going to stay cute for very long, their needs will increase exponentially, and a marginally-involved baby daddy will not contribute enough to cover said childrens' needs.
