But, if I were a guy and I wanted to marry a girl and her father said, "No way," I would ask why. If he had a valid reason, I'd try to see it from his point of view. But then ultimately, it's up to the couple whether they want to proceed or not. Unless we're talking underage people, of course. Then those kids should take a hike and wait until they're legal.
