Anyways, long story short, I am in a position where I get to coordinate certain events as well as interact with some very "average" American families that come visit the university.

One thing that blows my mind is how incredibly annoying and weird some of these people are. I could give several examples but one that gets to me the most is what I called "the nagging wife".

Some of these women will literally nag their husbands for 30 minutes nonstop, they have a need to challenge, criticize and give their input when it comes to everything, I literally mean EVERYTHING!

So, since I am single, never married, usually being around people like this will drain me after about 20 minutes, how or why do these men tolerate these monsters?

Judgmental much? You have no idea of anything about these people's lives and what brought them to this point. You have an obvious agenda against women in your age group. Everyone is someone else's weirdo.

IowaConservative:

Regarding the bolded part in pink...

Ask the husbands your question.

You don't. These types of women to the curb. Let them fend for themselves.

There are some very nice things to embrace about being single.

Why are you so grumpy when you have 19 year old women falling at your feet?

Does your university know how you are treating the parents of perspective students? You are seeing a small sliver of a couple's interaction....not the entire relationship.

Just wait until you bang that 19 year old; she really gonna complain and rip your ear off, and do stupid stuff on top of it to make you annoyed of her. Because you're the one who will appear old and naggy, to her.

I'm with Liberty and snugglegirl.

Sure, there are controlling women out there. But do you honestly believe there are no men "who have a need to challenge, criticize, and give their input when it comes to everything, I literally mean EVERTHING"?

Maybe you should date men, because you clearly have nothing positive to say about women.

You started the last thread (part II of you and the 19 year old girl) at 738am. Now this one at 951am.

What is it that you want, OP? What is it that you need?

I agree people are very weird. It could be the stress of their child leaving home, how they are going to pay for college etc that is making these couples on edge. I agree about the not being married thing though, i have never been married at 36 and think it is the best decision for me.
