I searched for a 'how to hug' video on youtube for a joke due to this thread. I don't even know why I'm surprised they had 'how to hug girls' guides. I won't underestimate anything again. They probably have guides on how to blink at the opposite gender.
I would give her a nice firm big hug so that she wont let go of.
Pretty much... are you the guy who chokes way up on the hammer and gives 20 love taps before driving the nail flush? Or are you the MAN who slides real low on the handle....puts some testosterone and ASS into it.... and smacks it down flush in one, no more than three WHACKS?
What's the appropriate pressure to squeeze a woman when giving her a hug? Is there such a thing as too light? Too firm? Just right? If you're hugging a woman who's not your wife or girlfriend, what exactly is a good gauge of how tightly to embrace her?

We did have a thread from a guy who wanted to know exactly how long he could look at a woman before it became staring and she would get mad.
Unless it's your mom or grandma, WHEN would you need to "embrace" a woman who is not your wife or GF???
I'm not a "huggy" person at all outside my SO and my sister. When I moved to Alabama years ago though, its quite customary for women friends to hug me. Just as its customary for my women friends husbands to hug my girlfriend. We are talking close friends of course.

Yeah, I know. I'm a Southerner. We hug everybody.
As he later acknowledged, though, the OP is talking about more than just a "hug."
That would make me uncomfortable... in a certain way. Just don't look at my crotch after you're done.
Now where is the fun in that. Of course I'll look if its a guy.
