Believe me, I used to be subscribed to them, and their "pranks" were always fake/staged. However, too many dumb people out there that believe they're real, which is how they get a lot of views (then turns into money).

Maybe, maybe not. I'm unfamiliar with them.

That being said, the videos I posted last time this topic came up were by legitimate news sources, and did the same things: First women hitting men. The men were laughed at, the women smiled at, egged on no matter how violent they became, and even cheered.

The second the tables were turned, people immediately reacted, came to the rescue, even got violent with the men. Immediately.

What about those 'dumb' people?

It's a real problem, not just with regard to frequency but overall perception of what is or is not okay.

Its just todays feminized society, guys - nothing shocking. Women=good, men=bad. Thank feminism. Men are roughly half of all domestic abuse victims, yet there are really no resources to help them. All resources go to helping women who are victims of same. Anytime there is an attempt to allow men to stay in DV victim shelters or open one that will shelter men who are victims, feminist organizations protect and shut it down. So much for gender equality.

As to the topic, its not ok for anyone to hit anyone. If men are smart, they will defend themselves by fighting back. Women have gotten little too sure of themselves, since society at large thinks that a man being physically abused by a woman is funny. If a woman was to hit me, in order to cause physical harm, it would be the last thing she did for oh....about a week or so. Pendulum has swung the other way, a bit too far for my liking.

That's MY opinion on the matter! I don't agree with hitting women simple as. If someone else hits women whether it's justified or not that's up to them I'm not trying to convince people of not doing it, and the other fellas I associate with are of the same opinion.

Plus I don't know what the hell the bible and other cultures have to do with the price of tea in China?

It's not a rule granted but it's a code that I vigorously uphold and am proud of it!! Can't see how you can disagree with it? It's as if your condoning it infact.

Keep your hands to yourself that goes for men and women. If you hit someone, don't get all surprised when they retaliate. You can only mess with someone before they snap.

Video looks pretty real. Just random people walking through such a big city. Let's suppose the video was not real, just think about it, if a man was raising his voice and pushing a girl around you bet men and women alike would jump in to do something about it and call authorities. Have it the other way around and, just like the video showed, people would think its funny, cute, justified, etc. That's how sitcoms, movies, comedy, and commercials also portray female violence towards men.

I remember this other video that was popular a couple of years ago. It was on TV. A girl slapped a guy and the guy returned the slap and even people from the audience and camera crew jumped in to beat the guy up. Girl slapping the guy was a totally normal acceptable behavior from her but when the guy retaliated hell broke lose.

I think it's because (even though it's wrong) if a guy really wanted to, he could beat up a woman that slapped him easily. This is wrong because it's a double standard, and because you don't know if the woman is physical herself. Not all women are weaklings.

The only acceptable time it seems you can use force on a woman is if your life is in danger. Her slapping you isn't putting your life at risk.

It still doesn't make it right for a woman to raise her hand to a man. A guy slapping a woman doesn't put her life at risk either, yet, if its a man that's slapping a woman everybody jumps in to beat the guy up and call police. Like you said, it is a double standard. Women being violent with men is acceptable, promoted, seen as cute and funny, justified, etc. While the other way around is just repugnant to society.

No woman should slap nobody regardless of gender. No man should slap nobody regardless of gender.

Allowing women a free pass to physically assault a man just because of his gender without a man's permission (since those sort of arrangements are totally acceptable in my opinion) is a big reason why women are seen as weak. My son has every right to defend himself regardless of his attacker's gender, as do my two girls.

I'm in complete agreement with it. JK

It's not right to hit a woman, but I see where woman like to push the envelope.

Decision to retaliate will be influenced by how much I care for the offender. Don't think gender will come into play here.

I'd certainly be nice if we could all just keep our filthy hands to ourselves though.
