I dress for the weather. If it's hot, you'll see a lot of skin. If it's cold, not so much. Most places around me are NOT air conditioned, though I'm lucky to finally work in an office that is. Ever spend a summer in work attire in a 3rd floor converted warehouse with only fans? Yeah, there was a lot more skin in that office than would probably be appropriate in many other industries but we had no other choice.

It's one thing if you're running from air conditioned car to air conditioned house or office and you're a strappy sundress. It's a whole other if you live in a place like New England where AC is not standard in homes or older offices, and even many shops!

LOL I was hoping the actual style of the clothes themselves wouldn't get focused on, but more so the overall look. But yeah it does sort of look like a tablecloth...

I'm surprised to see a post like this by a guy.

I don't have the confidence to wear clothes that expose a lot, but I have no issue with other women doing it. In the summers I wear shorts and t-shirts and flip flops. Although lately I've had trouble finding shorts that aren't too short or t-shirts that aren't see through. I can't wear clothes like that to work. Shorts have to be a certain length at work, and I can never find any that aren't too tacky. T-shirts, I have to wear a tank top or something under them because it seems it's so thin you can see through it, and it doesn't matter what colour it is.

I think a question to pair with this is why do men wear "bathing suit trunks" that come down to their calves? Although I will concede I rather see that, than a Speedo.

My husband knew a girl who dressed in short skirts and short shorts when she was not around her parents or when she was not at church.

When she was around her parents, she wore less revealing clothing.

The same for church.

She was also known as a mater poacher. She tried to steal him away from me when the two of us were dating. She was not happy when we got engaged. She was even more pissed off when we got married. She would also wear revealing clothing whenever he was around. Her plan did not work. He never went out with her.

He disagreed with her choice of clothing as well as her actions.

She wants to get involved in a relationship with a guy who is a virgin.

She turns 31 this year.

Hehe... I just find it amusing as women's shorts get skimpier and skimpier men's shorts get longer and longer.

Actually, board shorts and bathing trunks with a matching bra-style top are in for surfer women, too.
