P.S. Even if you do end up getting him to hookup, don't expect fireworks. Be prepared for disappointment, and if you are willing to accept that the sex won't be as great as you'd like, then I say still try to go for it.

Yep lol. The first time I did it after not having it for a year in what started out as no strings attached it was awkward and not that good for me. It did get much better though but still... I had feelings for the guy and he had feelings for me and it was awkward for me. Good luck op lol!
I only had one FWB that worked, someone usually gets attached. I'm not gonna sound like a nice guy with this, but the one that worked, I had to tell her pretty frequently to not let herself slip, and like a champ she didn't, when looking back at it now, I probably didn't have to tell her at all, I was just so arrogant, I assumed she'd get herself all sprung on me... LOL..

It's really true, sex isn't just sex. Some people you click with and it's mind blowing, others just blah. It's too bad you can't find out ahead of time if it's gonna be blah before you get in.
No. Not in my opinion. Not at all. Not when you can do it better with yourself. Good sex is worth the wait. Bad Sex is regrettable and I don't want any regrets.
