OP: I am sitting in a hospital at this very moment because my man didn't take care of his health earlier. Now he is getting chemo. I realize this is a big leap from your sprained ankle, but bear with me for another minute.

I have begged him to go to a better hospital with cutting-edge technology and the most advanced procedures. He refuses. I simply don't understand his thinking. I'm telling you this because your GF may have similar feelings as I do. (Keep in mind that it's a sprained foot to a man. Period. To a woman, it affects you, her, the relationship, etc., etc.) For me, his refusal to even get a second opinion tells me (and I could be wrong) that he doesn't care about himself, which means he doesn't care about US (since he is part of this relationship, at least I thought so), and that hurts.

So, put on your Big Boy underpants and go to the doctor.

I've had this happen enough times to know what is wrong, because before I'd go to the Dr.(even different dr's.) It's been diagnosed plenty of times. Same with my wrist, I have a cracked bone....it hurts some times but has been x-rayed enough that it isn't getting worse. It just flares up when "used wrong". It's just the way it is.

I'm so sorry to hear about your husband. Prayers sent, Meta.

I will go next time it happens to me. I think I'm right, but if not then it will be fixed right.

My best to you and your family during this tough time for you all.

It does when you're looking at 500$ to 1000$ out your pocket for the visit.
