The ex doesn't even have to be your friend. If you've met their ex, would you be able to date that person? Or would the image just bother you too much and it would feel wrong? I have never been in that situation until now... I think it would be wrong but I may feel differently later on down the line since they broke up not too long ago. When you say "know", I'm not sure how well you mean. I would not date the ex of any of my friends. If it's just someone of whose existence I know, but we're not friends/acquaintances, sure I would date their ex.

He added me on FB recently. I always felt a connection with him before even though I didn't know him that well. But I can't tell with an eager person especially if they broke up with their partner not too long ago and just want somebody around.
