RAF Alconbury... outside of Huntingdon... wonderful first assignment..... even though I can barely remember any of it worked one day on and one day off.... plus being 18 and could drink legally.... come on.... that's a party just waiting to happen... and they did!!!!!

My Husband was stationed at Alconbury when we first met but that was way back in 1984 !!!! Alconbury is closed now just base housing commissary etc it is a support for Molesworth.
