So I've been talking to this guy from Tinder for a few weeks. I met him once before I went home for winter break but we kept in contact up until about a week or so ago when we got into a stupid argument and didn't talk for a week. He then contacted me on Christmas and we've been talking again since then. I've been really crushing on this guy, he has a lot of attributes I'm looking for, even though he can be a bit odd at times. Earlier today we were sending pictures of ourselves to one another and he said "that picture makes me want you to have my babies" - it was just a normal picture I took in my pjs, nothing provocative. I didn't know what to say to that so I didn't say anything. After I didn't reply for a while, he clarified that he just meant that he wanted to have sex with me. Now if he just said that, it would've been fine with me. We're both attracted to one another, so who cares right? He's been hinting that he wants a more serious relationship when I'm 100% over my ex, which I am for the most part (that's another story, but just disregard that for now).
Is it weird for a guy to say something like that? He brushed it off like it was nothing and I'm just like wtf?
I agree with posters above. Don't overthink it OP. He was just trying to say he wants to have sex with you. He probably thought it was a cute way of expressing this. Guys do say weird things all the time!

We do this because I'm currently in another city for winter break and so we can't see each other... What's the harm in sending pictures to someone you're interested in? I'm not dumb enough to send nudes, my career is far too important for me to take that kinda risk, even though I trust him.
That comment just threw me off guard, that was all.
