No committed relationship at this time, just casual dating here and there. Tonight I'm home alone, slowly mellowing from Jack Daniels and Pepsi. Will probably be s***faced by 11:30.
single for New Year's here. This time of year can be a bit lonely. I was invited out by some of my staff to get some drinks, but I have a feeling that would be a bad idea as some of them are pretty cute. I'll probably just go out and bar hop a bit. Try to see if there's a cute young thing that wants to enjoy the night.
I go out all the time NYE isn't really a big deal for people like me.. unless I find a good party or event that I'm truly interested in. Being single and being single and not dating are two different things. Most people that are single and dating or have a FWB are most likely pretty happy single people. It's when you're single and have nothing that stinks.
The devastation of being single on a holiday. I don't understand all the drama behind it like it's a big deal. I'm single and went out and cooked a tenderloin on the grill with a couple cousins. Drank a few beers and had a good time. "Handled".

Certainly agree. I spent New Year's Eve with my 6 pound Maltese; we watched Season 4 of Person of Interest (i have a crush on Jim Caviezel ). Someday i'm sure i'll spend the holidays with someone special but until then i've learnt to enjoy my own company (and that of my dogs')....
