She's rude! There's no excuse for mistreating other people, even if she was having a bad day. Take this as a warning of things to come!

Why was a 3rd date a dinner date? You should still be doing some sort of activity dates, or a home dinner date, not a restaurant dinner date. Also, a chain restaurant is not a good choice if you are choosing to go the dinner date route.
There's not any specific guidelines for where and what to do on a 3rd date is there?.

Just go with the flow sounds better for example it may be local to both of them

OP,

you don't need to survey a bunch of strangers on the internet, to come to the same conclusion that you came to on your own: that your date was rude and obviously inappropriate.

My date runs a dogfighting ring. What do you think?

I try my best to never go where you have to depend on wait staff because thy don't do their jobs and only seem to be interested in how much you tip. I think this may be why some places like Applebee's have started preparing meals you can take home. I prefer eating at home where I can have a drink any time I choose. And when I hear about people having someone spit in their food, it makes me gag.

I am wondering if she had been treated badly at this place before.

This thread shows why dinner dates early on can in fact be useful.

It takes a special kind of ***hole to talk down to servers. You know what you need to do, OP.
