About 15 yrs ago I was working on a jobsite as a contractor and was talking to a guy about sex dolls and he was telling about the one he was planning on buying and was all excited about it. I was completely horrified, I hope my face didn't betray me. He was talking about 9k at the time. This guy was a creep beyond the doll thing. He'd get on the internet and show me some of the most vile stuff he could find. I got to the point of when he wanted to show me something I just said, no. I was a quite a bit younger than him at the time, he was probably 48 or 50 at the time.
Strange people out there, I heard some yrs later he got a Filipino mail order bride. I hope she came here, got her whole family over and then dumped his ass, as that's typically what happens with mail order brides. This guy was an odd duck, but not in a cute sort of you feel sorry for him way, more of a let's not hang out with this clown kinda way.
All in all...love is something that either happens or it doesn't. I don't think a lot of people really know what it is (including myself)....love has different definitions for everyone.
I believe we have very little control over it....we can put ourselves in situations to increase our chances at finding it (whatever it is), but whether it happens is not really up to us.
