boyfriend spoils girlfriends others dont. why? (date, boyfriends, women, love)

I see females with boyfriends that give her gifts. Other females with boyfriends that don't give anything even when sometimes the girl has a job but is still struggling. The guys who dlnt give might give once a year at a holiday or something but in general doesnt give anything. The guys that give are happy and so are the female receivers. Both cases the women obviously is with them and investing time/affection to the these different type of man. So why some man give and others don't?? Is it something the women does or is it the guys way?

Note: both females work.

If you like gifts, date men who enjoy giving them. It's not about money or the woman, it's just one way some people show affection.

It could also be the women who don't want constant gifts. I would rather my fiancé show he cares with actions, not physical objects. Picking me up from work so I don't have to take the bus. Cleaning the kitchen. A completely random text out of the blue telling me something funny about his day because he knew I was having a rough one. Things like that. :-)

I've actually always been leery of men who constantly buy things (especially expensive things) for me. It always feels like they're trying to buy my affection, or think that because they bought me stuff, that means they don't have to show any affection or can be a jerk, or worse, that I now "owe" them something.

To me, actions speak louder. I don't care how much money you're willing to drop on me. I'd rather a gesture of action that shows you care over a "I bought you this thing. That shows I love you, right?"

But people are different. :-)
