Between this and your other thread, it appears that you view dating as some type of game with points to be won. This doesn't bode well for your relationships.
Maybe try being yourself, and doing what you feel is natural for you.
If you're already in a relationship, then, yes, expressing your feelings verbally is a good idea. If you're merely interested in the woman and have strong feelings, expressing them verbally is a one way ticket to rejectionville/friend zone.

It's normal. Usually by the time a guy feels motivated to do that, there's been good indication from the woman that she feels similarly. The people who analyze everything in terms of power plays have issues. Don't take them seriously.
