me: yea, it was busy here to. aww really thats cute did your meetng go well?
her: yea, seems like the promotion will go through

ok my "aww really thats cute" had to be a horrible awful beta response right?

i have no idea why i sent that and i am down right embarrassed by it. Do you think she noticed?
"oh look he's alive"????? Uhm, either she is clingy or you should have texted her back a while ago. But this is rather aggressive and pretty much means "WTF, why didn't you text sooner??".

She tells you she was thinking about you and you did not answer you were thinking about her either? Hmmmm.

Anyhow. don't make it complicated. CALL her. Congratulate her to her promotion and celebrate with a nice dinner.

Guys who worry about being beta are already beta. You can't "not act" like something you are not. So quit worrying about acting beta. The more you worry about it the more you become it.

If she freaked out that much after you hadn't texted for one hour..she sounds like a stage 5 clinger (as the kids say), and you're going to have your hands full if you get into a real relationship, when real problems come up.
