She has to know i was joking right?

I dont wanna be like "i was being sarcastic" and come off as insecure
What's coming off as insecure is this girl you barely know repeatedly asking if you miss her.

That's what I was thinking. Sounds like a couple of wiseasses getting on each other's nerves.

So you only went out once and she asked you TWICE if you miss her??

Ugh. RUN!

Anyone that asks if you miss them after a first date has issues to begin with. Throw this one back.

Go forward with her, then, if she was 'joking'.

Make sure to post back in a couple of months when you realize you've been wasting time.

Honestly, both comments seem immature: asking so soon if one is missed, and then "duh".

"Duh"? Really?

I'd be buh-bye-ing, personally.

I don't know, OP. I think you two were made for one another. But if this all blows up, which it probably already has, I'd recommend that in the future, even if you're taken aback by a comment or feel it's being made too soon, figure out a way to answer that doesn't sound like a middle-schooler. Then you'll more solidly know that you did the right thing and that any decisions you make from there are appropriate.

As an aside, if you want to "do" sarcasm, it needs to be somewhat more clever and less just nasty. Just nasty does not equal sarcastic. Sarcasm that's banter not intended to make the person angry usually has a little more finesse than this. OTOH, if you just don't have a knack for it, don't even try. Just answer cheerfully and honestly next time, even if the answer is "I haven't really had a chance to yet, but I did really enjoy our date."

JMO.
