I don't know, OP. I think you two were made for one another. But if this all blows up, which it probably already has, I'd recommend that in the future, even if you're taken aback by a comment or feel it's being made too soon, figure out a way to answer that doesn't sound like a middle-schooler. Then you'll more solidly know that you did the right thing and that any decisions you make from there are appropriate.
As an aside, if you want to "do" sarcasm, it needs to be somewhat more clever and less just nasty. Just nasty does not equal sarcastic. Sarcasm that's banter not intended to make the person angry usually has a little more finesse than this. OTOH, if you just don't have a knack for it, don't even try. Just answer cheerfully and honestly next time, even if the answer is "I haven't really had a chance to yet, but I did really enjoy our date."
