It makes sense if someone has a really active lifestyle, and they're trying to get that point across... "Here I am scuba diving, hiking, bungee jumping, etc." So you know they're probably looking for someone who enjoys the same activities.

Photos of people just doing things like eating, I don't get it.

Good pictures and a quick, succinct profile description seem to work best for women. Ladies with nothing but selfies almost never have anything interesting to say. Women with too much in their profile tend to be way too picky and end up ruling out almost every eligible male.


I'm sure this all applies to men.
