In all fairness, not everyone likes having cable and/or Internet. Or at least liking it enough to pay for it. It's not that weird to me.

I need internet for work, but I don't have cable or a TV and haven't for decades. Lots of people like that. They may not be normz, but that's a good thing.

I pay for internet, but I have Comcast so it's a crapshoot as to whether or not I actually HAVE internet. My mom didn't have internet until just recently. However, she had a stroke in her 20's and the part of her brain it affected makes it so technology scares her. She has had cable forever though.

I don't have cable anymore - haven't for about 3 years now. I just stream what I want to watch.

Why does OP want a man, any man, enough to settle for weird?

His only phone is his company issued flip phone. He uses an iPod on the wifi at the gym. I figured he is frugal.

Didn't strike me as weird. He said he use to have a smart phone, but it was like a giant distraction and his life is way better without it.

That I can understand. There are times when I think about going back to a basic cell phone. There are also times I think about just getting rid of it and not having a phone period. My brother has a basic flip phone. He's bound and determine to make that thing last for ever.

So he doesn't have his own phone. I'd be careful what you are texting him on company property!

I wouldn't say someone free of Internet or television is "weird"
They just have different priorities in life that takes their personal time.

If I could be free of it all I would take it and run...
