Your roommate may not be wrong but FWB isn't anything to get upset about, it sounds like it's your choice. You know this can't get too serious since you're leaving (reality check), you're ok just hanging out, sleeping over, and even having sex. That screams FWB to me. Maybe it will turn into something more, nobody know what the future holds, but now isn't really the time to push it.
